The working principle of HG series drum dryer is to let liquid or mud paddle material form a film on the surface of the drum heated by water vapor or other hot carrier, and it will be dried in the process of one turn of the drum, and the product will be scraped down by scraper, and the exposed surface of the drum will contact with the raw material again and form a thin film for drying.

HG series drum dryer is composed of main drum, frame, charging device (upper charging or lower dipping), driving mechanism, screw feeding device, dust-absorbing device, scraper device and other components. Cylinder scraper dryer is a kind of forming and drying equipment for liquid or slurry, which can cool and crystallize the high temperature saturated salt solution to form solid flake, or heat and dry the slurry to form solid flake. It is cooled or heated through the cylinder wall with high heat transfer efficiency, which is the ideal equipment for crystallization and forming in the continuous production line. The design of material supply and fabric system is composed of material supply pump, material liquid tank, overflow pipe and related valve group and other devices. The raw material liquid is transported to the material liquid tank through the feeding pump (centrifugal or rotor pump) after filtering and other pre-processes. The material-liquid tank is designed at the bottom of the drum, and the specially designed butterfly structure matches the immersion depth of the cylinder to ensure the thickness of the liquid film formed by the rotation of the cylinder. The material liquid tank is equipped with overflow pipe, which can effectively prevent the material liquid from overflowing out of the tank when there is too much material in the tank. Drying cylinder design
Cylinder rolled welded structure, the whole stress relief treatment, to ensure that the use of thermal deformation does not occur; at the same time, according to the use of the harsh nature of the working conditions, the head of the axle can be used in the hot sleeve structure, than the welded structure to greatly improve the service life; and equipped with special equipment, pressure vessel certificate. Design steam pressure can reach 0.88MPa, dynamic balance G4 level or above. The surface of the cylinder is hard chrome plated (0.1mm), the hardness is up to HRC65, which improves the hardness, abrasion resistance, temperature resistance and corrosion resistance of the parts with the characteristics of chrome. The surface roughness can be up to mirror, and the runout of the cylinder surface is within 0.05mm.

Heat transfer oil system design
It consists of rotary joints, metal hoses and related valves and other devices.
The rotary joint is a rotating mechanical sealing device to convey and remove heat transfer medium for fixed piping and rotating drum. The heat transfer mediums used for rotary joints in the drum scraper drying system include steam, water, heat transfer oil and coolant. The components of the rotary joint dynamic seal adopted by our company are all machined, including: sealing ring, outer tube spherical surface, bottom cover and so on. The sealing ring is not in contact with the outer shell during operation, but floats in the space formed by the bottom cover and outer shell. Rotary joints are characterized by simple structure, easy maintenance, high reliability and high temperature resistance.
The whole metal hose is made of stainless steel, which has strong corrosion resistance, and the internal tube body is imported from Japan and annealed after light rectification, which makes the metal hose have good flexibility and bending strength. The body of its cross-section shape for the “Ω” type, than the general “U” type has superior expansion and contraction properties, and compensation performance, and service life to improve more. The connection of both ends of the hose is equipped with a variety of excuses form, can be more convenient to adapt to the different requirements of the use of a variety of equipment.
Scraper system design
It consists of bracket, scraper blade fixture, scraper blade, pressure relief device, bearing and swinging device.
Bracket design to determine the location of the center of gravity of the scraper body, the center of gravity should be located in the middle of the rotating pivot point and the scraper and barrel contact line, to avoid the center of gravity falls on the rotating pivot point, to ensure that 1/3 ~ 1/2 of the line pressure generated by the scraper's own weight.
The scraper blade fixture is adjustable to ensure sufficient rigidity and its own sealing. It can be quickly and easily loaded and removed. In addition to the rigid fixture, our company introduced the flexible fixture in the yeast drying equipment, when adjusted, if the load changes can automatically compensate for the cylinder surface state changes and deflection changes.
Design features of scraper blade:
a)The material of scraper blade matches the material of cylinder surface;
b) The installation angle of scraper blade relative to the cylinder is accurate;
c) The scraper blade is in close contact with the transverse surface of the cylinder;
The scraper material should be selected from alloy structural steel that is slightly lower than the hardness of the dry cylinder surface. Scraper material hardness is too high will damage the cylinder, too low is easy to roll the edge of the knife mouth. Choose the appropriate hardness of alloy structural steel scraper material (customized dimensions). After the scraper is used, the material adhering to the surface of the cylinder body and scorched material can not only be eradicated evenly, but also the scraper has a long service life, and there is no scratch and wear on the surface of the cylinder body. Cylinder and scraper group angle of 18 ° ~ 24 °, the group angle determination method is as follows: with an angle ruler will be the base plane and scraper plane overlap, with a ruler to measure the point of contact and the circumference of the tangent line (pay attention to the tangent line, and require the ruler ends and the circumference of the cylinder and the distance between the two, the angle that is measured group angle), according to the process of the required line pressure requirements of the accounting. At present, our scraper system are used throughout the knife blade, which is quite strict on the surface of the cylinder jump rate of high demand, but the whole knife design relative to the transmission of the segmented multi-blade design to avoid scraping uneven scraping and scraping dead ends.
The oscillating scraper device replaces the fixed scraper device of the transmission, so that the scraper does transverse reciprocating oscillation along the surface of the cylinder, the scraper and the surface of the cylinder generates transverse shear force, which prevents the dirt from accumulating and ensures the cleanliness of the scraper and the cylinder surface.
Tail gas system design
Because of the evaporated water is more, so need to be equipped with forced moisture exhaust system, supporting the exhaust hood above the drum, using the fan will be forced to exhaust the moisture outside to ensure that the indoor operating environment (user-provided).
Control system
The control system adopts centralized control, and the drive motor frequency conversion speed control cylinder speed.

Before using the machine should read through all the instruction manual, and then start the operation.
Power on :
(1) Firstly, check whether there is oil in the motor reduction gear box and whether the wires are connected reliably.
(2) Whether the pipeline is connected reliably.
(3) Whether the trough is clean and free of debris.
(4) Whether the steam (heat-conducting oil) pipeline is firmly connected.
After the above check is completed, then turn on the main power supply and start the machine to operate the buttons on the control panel. Check whether the motor steering is correct at each point.
(5) Open the general power switch in the control cabinet and press the general power button on the panel.
(6) Press the main motor button of the drum dryer and listen to the sound of motor running and whether the drum runs smoothly and normally. Note that before turning on the rotating motor to let the scraper out of the drum
(7) Open the steam valve to the set pressure (≤0.6Mpa). Preheat the drum for 2~3h, make the drum as a whole heat up uniformly and then open the exhaust hood and feeding trough steam heating valve (≤0.2Mpa).
(8) Slowly lean the scraper on the cylinder, according to the intermittent adjustment of the fine-tuning bolt, so that the scraper close to the cylinder, but not hurt the surface of the cylinder.
(9) Open the moisture exhaust fan, and at the same time open the slurry feed valve to control the speed of the material. Open the sputtering spindle and adjust the speed to even fabric.
(10) Adjust the squeezing strength of the scraper again according to the condition of material staining, so that the material on the surface of the drum can be shoveled down smoothly, but not too tight to damage the surface of the drum.
(11) Turn on the discharging cage and the discharging shut-off fan.
(12) Check whether the scraping material on the drum surface is clean. Check whether the material liquid level is normal, and adjust the feeding amount according to the liquid level.
Turn off the machine:
(1) Turn off the slurry discharge valve first.
(2) Turn off the steam inlet valve.
(3) Turn off the spatterer.
(4) When the drum surface material is scraped clean, turn off the main motor power supply, turn off the exhaust fan and the discharge cage and the lower material off the fan.
(5) Clean the site.
